The pattern is written with photos and step-by-step instructions in standard American terms. My desire is that a dedicated beginner would be able to make this blanket too. 
This blanket is perfect for covering a baby in a crib, stroller of car seat and a wonderful baby shower gift. I used it as a blanket for mydaughter when she naps during the day. She loves it so much and wants to hold it all the time. I showed it to my friends, they think it's the sweetest blanket they have ever seen.
